SkillWorks and CWC are pleased to sponsor a workshop on Thursday, June 18th from 10am-noon for Public/Private Ventures to discuss the results of their new study, which establishes the effectiveness of high-quality, industry specific job training programs. The workshop will include a briefing on the results and hands-on work for programs to plan how they might incorporate the lessons into your program design and operations. Sheila Maguire will lead the workshop; she is the Vice President for Labor Market Initiatives at Public/Private Ventures, a national intermediary that tackles critical challenges facing low-income communities by seeking out and designing innovative programs, rigorously testing them, and promoting the solutions proven to work.
